Abortion

The Soul Pre-existed with God Before Birth

The soul comes from God and the body comes from the Earth — the two are separate entities. When the physical body is no longer able to able to support life the soul returns to God and the body returns to the Earth from whence it came.

“Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.” (Ecc 12:7)

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee…” (Jer 1:5)

“For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” (James 2:26)

At conception when the sperm penetrates the woman’s egg a process in which the growth of an embryo is begun. The life and growth of the unborn infant is supported by the body of the mother, until the moment of birth — and beyond. At some uncertain point a pre-existing soul enters the fetus to complete what will become a human being.

The mother’s body supports the life of the embryo/fetus until it is able to survive on its own. The physical body is mostly unable to sustain life without the soul or at least some form of connection to the soul. If the life form existing inside the mother’s womb ceases to contain a soul, for some reason, the physical body usually will be naturally rejected from the mother’s body. If the baby will have a soul by the time it is born, there will be a chance of survival, otherwise it will be still born. The life force of a physical body is the soul — not a mass of tissue.

When Does the Soul Enter the Fetus?

A certain pre-existent soul inhabits the fetus at a certain unknown point in gestation. It is impossible to know at exactly what point, scientifically, the soul enters the fetus. In Aristotle’s day it was believed that the human soul entered the fetus after conception at 40 days for males and 90 days for females. Some mystics believe that life enters the fetus at 40 to 45 days and if life enters after 48 days from conception, the being that will be born is considered to be phenomenal. However, it is only speculation, scientifically speaking, and there is no way to know when life actually enters the body beyond guess-work.

Contrary to religious opinion, the soul is not created together beginning at the time of conception. The decision for a soul that is to inhabit a certain body is made outside the mother’s womb. There is a definite reason for a soul to be reborn: for the purpose of progress of the soul in the greater scheme of things.

When the life force is removed from the mother’s womb, as is in the case of abortion, the fetus is usually unable to sustain life on its own without the support of the mother’s body and life ceases, unless in the rare case that the baby is able to continue life in another manner.

Why Abortion is Not Right: A Life Experience Interrupted

Since the soul needs a physical body as a vehicle for the experience it needs to advance — spiritually speaking — it is unjust to the soul of the individual seeking to inhabit a new body and to be re-born, to be interrupted by an abortion.

In the case that the mother and/or the father of the woman who becomes pregnant has definitely decided that the pregnancy should not continue, it is very probable that the soul will likely desert the embryo or fetus and the process will be interrupted, and most likely the process will end in a natural miscarriage or a still birth.

An abortion could be a serious mistake: that because the soul would be denied a new experience in the physical world, the progress would be delayed that would have been gained had the new body and soul continued their journey. Little do people what that the new life entering into their world what individual might mean for them — and especially the new life that would be born.

Little do many people realize that life is planned well in advance, by not only the soul that is to occupy the new body, but also many times together with the parents and spirit guides. There is a purpose for the life that is to be born, and there is an agreement among all souls involved — sometimes called a “contract”. Ending a pregnancy is ending a new birth or as Jesus described it a “born again” experience.

No one involved in this process is able to remember the details of this contract or those involved, but the experience of this life is for the benefit for all those involved and sometimes even for the benefit of the whole world. Ending a pregnancy is cutting short an experience that would not have only benefitted the new life, but also very probably an experience that was to benefit the parents or others involved in the carefully afore prepared contract. Though no one usually is able to remember the preparation of this contract, it does in reality exist, and the breaking of this contract could be, in the end, a very great opportunity missed and a sad thing for all involved.

Political Manipulation

Now as a political tool, the issue of abortion for the purpose of influencing the masses for personal gain: on either side of the isle politicians are making a mistake since they have no idea what is involved. It is not a legal issue since there is no way, for them, of knowing spiritually, what is going on inside a woman — for that matter neither does her doctor.

There is no way of knowing if there is a soul inside the mass of tissue residing and growing inside the woman or not. Just because there is a heart beat is no way of knowing that the embryo has become a complete human being with a soul.

In the realm of politics, there is neither political nor legal ideology here — only personal advantage. The question of life is a very personal one, and decisions about life, though they can be very dramatic, are of a nature that can not and should never be legislated.

It is unconscionable that a politician could make decisions (and laws) for others that are of a spiritual nature and mainly have no influence on anyone except the parents and healthcare providers — but they do this anyway to obtain and maintain control over the minds and bodies of the masses of people.

Healthcare Providers

In most cases healthcare providers are present merely to protect the lives of mothers and help them make the correct decisions about their physical health. After all, the ultimate decision to end a pregnancy has usually already been made by the mother and/or the father.

In the case of healthcare providers, they are usually there for the motive of saving the mother’s life and/or health. Moreover, the physical organism of the pregnant woman is an extension of her own body and thus only subject to her decision alone and to a certain extent the father. In rare cases a doctor may recommend the cessation of a pregnancy to protect the life or health of the woman, but still the ultimate decision is hers. A woman’s life and health should be her choice and in her complete control — not a politician or a clergyman.

As for the persons making the decision to abort an unborn, they will have to psychologically, morally or maybe even physically or spiritually, live with the consequences of that decision for years, which is generally the mother and sometimes the father also.
