The so-called “correctors” that complied the gospels that comprise our bibles today, were not the ones who originally wrote the teachings and life of Jesus, but only copied, “corrected”, and translated the words what they found in other copies or, in the case of the earlier ones, they picked and chose the passages that they deemed should be included in their “gospels” that was in accordance with the dogmas of the church of the time and modified or left out the parts that they felt would be offensive to the emperor or the pagans that they were trying to win to their particular flavor of Christianity.
The following passages are taken from the gospels of the King James Version of the bible and the corresponding verses that are found in the Gospel of the Nazirenes. Compare the King James Version to the corresponding verse in the Nazirene Gospel, and see how the correctors made very important doctrinal changes in order to accommodate the Pauline style doctrines of the new church of Rome in contradiction to the teachings of Jesus.
What is fortunate (for the truth-seeker and unfortunate for the church) was that since there were more than one corrector over possibly several centuries and they all had their different styles and opinions and the fact that more than one “gospel” was included in the canon, this all created a great deal of inconsistencies and even contradictions within the different copies.
In John the phrase “way of righteousness” was removed, evidently because the Pauline doctrine states that salvation is not by works of righteousness. John obviously knew that it was by the way of righteousness that salvation was obtained, but the “correctors” thought it would be a good idea to remove it.
“The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” (Jn 1:29)
The next day John saw Yeshua coming to him, and said, “Behold the Lamb of God, which by righteousness takes away the sin of the world”. (Gospel of the Nazirenes 10:3)
If you read Mat 25 you’ll see that even Jesus taught that it is actually by righteousness that men inherit “life”. It is a man’s own righteousness, not the “righteousness of Christ”, that saves his soul. According to Jesus, “goats” are those who haven’t done works of righteousness and the “sheep” are those who have done works of righteousness.
“And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.” (Mat 25:33) (the sheep did the works of righteousness and the goats did not do the works of righteousness)
“Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: And these (unrighteous goats) shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous (sheep) into life eternal. (Mat 25:46)
In the following, the corrector of Matthew did not take out the phrase “way of righteousness” as did the corrector that copied the manuscripts of John.
“For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. (Mat 5:20)
“…Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you. (Mat 21:31)
“…For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him. (Mat 21:32)
“Yeshua said to them, “I say to you, that the publicans and harlots go into the kingdom of God before you”. (Gospel of the Nazirenes 68.16)
“For John came to you in the way of righteousness and you did not believed him, but the tax gatherers and the harlots believed him, and you, when you had seen it, did not repented afterwards, that you might believe him.” (Gospel of the Nazirenes)
John came preaching that men should repent of their evil ways and become righteous. John came in the “way of righteousness” which was an example by which to pattern one’s life after, not by merely believing in a righteous man as the church teaches. This was the same thing that Jesus taught. He came to show an example of how men show pattern their lives after and not that only believing in him was enough to save their souls.
Another interesting thing Jesus said was that the publicans and harlots would get into the kingdom of God before the chief priest and the elders of the people, because they were more righteous. You see it is righteousness that gets one into the kingdom of God and not believing only. In the following verses, notice how the correctors changed the phrase “do righteousness” to “doeth truth”. Doing righteousness requires that men repent and change their ways.
“Doing the truth” sounds less harsh. After all, if you only need to believe in Jesus to have “his” righteousness, that makes you righteous somehow, even though you don’t have the works of righteousness to show for it and the only work that they have to do is believe — so is the Pauline doctrine of the church.
For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. (Jn 3:20)
“But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. (Jn 3:21)
“For all they that do evil hate the light, neither do they come to the light, lest their deeds may be condemned. But they that do righteousness come to the light, that their deeds may be made manifest, that they are fashioned according to God.” (Gospel of the Nazirenes 12.12)
According to Jesus, the path to salvation is through living a righteous life, keeping the commandments and the law.
“I say to you, for this end have I come into the world, that I may put away all blood offerings and the eating of flesh of the beasts and the birds that are slain by men.” (Gospel of the Nazirenes 75:9)
“In the beginning, God gave to all, the fruits of the trees, and the seeds, and the herbs, for food; but those who loved themselves more than God, or their fellows, corrupted their ways, and brought diseases into their bodies, and filled the earth with lust and violence.” (Gospel of the Nazirenes 75.10)
“Not by shedding innocent blood (of Jesus), therefore, but by living a righteous life, shall you find the peace of God. You call me the Messiah of God and you say well, for I am the way, the truth and the life.” (Gospel of the Nazirenes 75.11)
“Walk in the way, and you shall find God. Seek you the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Live in the life, and you shall see no death. All things are alive in God, and the spirit of God fills all things.” (Gospel of the Nazirenes 75.12)
“Keep the commandments. Love your God with all your heart, and love your neighbor as yourself. On these hang all the law and the prophets. And the sum of the law is this — Don’t do to others what you don’t want them to do to you. Do you to others, what you want others to do to you.” (Gospel of the Nazirenes 75:13)
“Blessed are they who keep this law, for God is manifested in all creatures. All creatures live in God, and God is hidden in them.” (Gospel of the Nazirenes 75.14)
“In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death.” (Pro 12:28)
