The Whole Idea Behind the Plan
The reason for the whole creation, as it relates to Man, is to provide a whole experience for Man and in the end God and man finally live together as one.
That all be one, as thou, Father, in me, and I in thee, that also they in us be one; that the world believe, that thou hast sent me. (Jn 17:21)
What it sounds like is that Jesus would like all Men to be a part of the “god family”, if you will. What I am saying is that the whole plan was from the very beginning of creation was for man to be a god. Is that too far fetched? But Man had to undergo all these experiences to cause him to grow and become a special creature, almost like God in many ways, that would love Him out of his own volition and could be with God because he wants to be with God.
Here we are 6,000 years (or however long ago it actually was…) from the original creation of man and have undergone countless experiences and have made so much progress in the “evolution” so-to-speak that God began millenniums ago. Whether or not you believe in reincarnation, you have to admit that the soul of man has made much progress in all the time since he was created in the beginning, much more so than his physical body, through all the iterations since the very beginning.
It seems that a big part of this Great Plan is to provide an environment for Man to have learning experiences. One thing in all of these experiences is that God also provides a way for Man find at least some degree of happiness, seeing that his life is so full of hardships, pain and suffering and “sorrow”, etc. And death is a temporary relief from all of that — until the next time Man’s soul undergoes just another journey through existence. My belief is that this all continues until the point where the soul of man is ready to leave the cycle of birth-life-death.
“And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.” (Rev 21:3)
The final goal of this whole Plan
In the very end of all things, when whatever was the end goal, has been accomplished, and there is no more “sorrow” and dying and all the rest that goes with the whole experience on this physical realm that He created for Man’s journey — Man will finally be together living with God, being God’s people and God being their God.
And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all. (1Co 15:28)
“…so shall they be my people, and I will be their God. My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.” (Eze 37:23, 27)
