- It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: The Words I speak unto you THEY are Spirit and THEY are Life. (Jn 6:63)
- I am the Way the Truth and the Life…(Jn 14:6)
Jesus wasn’t physically the Way the Truth and the Life. What he was actually saying was that he WORDS that he taught were the Way, the Truth, and the Life. And it is impossible to even see the kingdom of God unless a man lives those teachings, which are the Way TO the Truth and Life.
Jesus worked so hard to get the focus off of himself and on to his words and his teachings, but Paul and his church became very instrumental in doing the very opposite that Jesus worked so hard to do, which was to get people to BELIEVE and DO what he taught.
When Jesus said: “He that believeth in me, hath everlasting life…” he was being literal. What he really meant was “he that believes what I teach“. And what one really believes, that he will put into practice. But the church has successfully turned that around and made the focus about Jesus himself, instead of his teachings.
The church wants people to think that “believeth in me” means to accept the MAN Jesus Christ as their “personal savior”, and that’s it. All they need to do is pray the “sinner’s prayer” and they are “saved”. They don’t have to do anything else, because Jesus did it all for them when he “died on the cross for their sins”.
According to them, “God is angry at the sinner every day” and deserves to go to Hell no matter how good he’s tried to be. The “sinner” is basically sinful from the time he is born and can never be good enough to save himself no matter what he does or does not do. The only path to “salvation” is through accepting what “Christ” did for him on the cross.
Supposedly, Jesus came to Earth just to die for the sinner, because man is so wicked and completely and hopelessly lost from birth, and deserves Hell — and there is only one life and only one chance to get it right — and if you don’t get it right the first time… that’s it for eternity! This all couldn’t be further from the Truth!
One of Jesus’ most important teachings was about Reincarnation, but most of these teachings were purposely left out when the writers of 4 gospels were re-written, I say “purposely”, because the doctrine of Reincarnation is diametrically opposite to the false doctrine of “salvation” that Paul and the churches have pushed on the World.
Unlike Paul, Jesus was not against the Law.
“Think not that I have come to destroy the law and the prophets, I have NOT come to destroy but to “fulfill”. (Mat 5:17) This word “fulfill” is likely a bad translation, since it doesn’t make much sense in the context of everything that Jesus taught. Maybe a better translation would have been “do and teach the spirit of the Law” (See Jn 6:63).
There is so much in the Old Testament about how the Law of God is “good” and is forever. But Paul taught against the Law. Even Jesus said,
“For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.”
“Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”
“For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. (Matt 5:18-20)
Keep the Commandments
How can it be that a man must be more righteous than the religious leaders in order to enter into the kingdom of heaven? And in one lifetime, no less? No one is able to be righteous enough to avoid Hell in one lifetime (Hell does not exist!). This is why a merciful God permits more chances and even makes it a “must” for the spirit of men to be “born again” into another body to get the opportunity to make more progress towards “perfection” that he requires.
“Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.” (Jn3:7)
“Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” (Mat 5:48)
When a man came to Jesus and asked him, “what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?” and Jesus answered, “…if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.” (Mt 19:17)
All the Law and Prophets are summed up in these two Laws: Love God and your neighbor as yourself.
“Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.”
“This is the first and great commandment.”
“And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.”
“On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” (Mat 22:37-40)
According to Jesus, in keeping these two Laws one has eternal life, but for man to keep these two laws it is obvious that it is impossible to do in only one lifetime. This is why Jesus taught,
Jesus answered and said unto him, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? (Jn 3:3,4)
Born Again: Reincarnation
Jesus was speaking literally when he said “born again”. Nicodemus obviously didn’t understand that Jesus was speaking of being born into a new body. The following are some of Jesus’ words from an original gospel that were purposely left out when the writers of the four gospels re-wrote their gospels:
16:10 For as one changeth old garments for new ones, so do they also change the body of death for the (new) body of life, and that which is past for that which is coming. — Jesus
94:4 The body that ye lay in the grave, or that is consumed by fire, is not the body that shall be, but they who come shall receive other bodies, yet their own… — Jesus
94:2. As all creatures come forth from the unseen into this world, so they return to the unseen, and so will they come again till they be purified. — Jesus
This is the reason that men get Jesus’ teaching about being “born again” wrong: they just don’t have the complete teachings of Jesus. Obviously, the reason they did this is because Jesus’ teachings of Reincarnation would have contradicted the false teachings of Paul.
